Lent started with Ash Wednesday on February 21st.

There will be a special series of sermons focussing on what we believe about Jesus during the regular Sunday morning Mass at 10am at All Saints and 11.00 am at St Nicks. These will be repeated on the Wednesday evening mass at All Saints starting at 7.00pm. After the services there will be a Discussion Group to look at issues raised in these sermons. The link to the sermons is at the bottom of the page.

NOTE that Confirmation classes are now in progress at All Saints on Wednesdays (before the evening service, at 6pm for children and young people, and at 6.30pm for adults) and Sundays after mass. They will also occur on Wednesdays at St Nicks at 7pm.

There is now a special page devoted to Holy Week and Easter events and services. Click here for the timetable of services, and click here for the explanation of the events of Holy Week and Easter

Lent Sermons
The Lent week 1 sermon by John Seymour may be found here.

The second Lent sermon by Alan Wynne may be found here

The third sermon - given by Jenny Sheldon was a very personal testimony of what Jesus means to her now, and so is not being put on the web site.
